Mountain lodge Pod Svahem has exceptional location in a picturesque nature of wild life preserve at the heat of the Hrubý Jeseník, between Vrbno pod Pradědem and Karlova Studánka in the town called Ludvíkov. It offers year round accommodations with a total capacity of 24 beds in 7 rooms. The rooms have standard furnishings and equipment. The guests have at their disposal a lounge with a fireplace and TV, kitchen and the dining room with the option of bringing own food, recreation room, dressing room, sanitary facilities. There is a grassy area available by the lodge, an area to sit around a bonfire, children playground, and parking lot. It offers winter and summer recreation, it is suitable for school trips, ski instruction courses, sports camps, but also family recreation – within 70m from the lodge is a ski slope with snow cannons and night skiing, the ski lift underwent a complete renovation this year and was extended into the current 500m in length. There is another lift, a shorter one available in the town, not far from Ludvíkov is Malá Morávka, Ovčárna, Petrovy kameny, Praděd (shuttle transportation from the stop in front of the lodge)… In the vicinity, there is a number of cross country skiing trails, hiking is popular in the summer, walks along the educational trail Bílá Opava or the visits of the not distant spa center Karlova Studánka. Around Vrbno pod Pradědem and Zlaté Hory, there is over 200 km of marked bike trails.
