Vila Jana

The village Okrouhlice is situated in the Bohemia-Moravian Highlands, approximately in the middle of the way from Prague to Brno. From the highway D1 there are 25 km. The typical landscape of the Highlands is characterized by large pine spruce forests, valleys of the river Sázava, lovely historical villages and towns. There are many preserved nature areas and much of cultural heritage (e.g. UNESCO towns like Telč, Třebíč, Žďár nad Sázavou, Kutná Hora) in the immediate surroundings. Okrouhlice is a nice village with a small castle. In the heart of the village there passes through the river Sázava, that creates in some kilometers further in deep forests meanders with wild water, which is an ideal place to walk by and admire the virgin nature – this preserved area is called Stvořidla . Also near (7 km) there is a mighty medieval castle Lipnice on a hill – the dominant of the locality, with wonderful views and with the museum of Jaroslav Hašek – the author of the book „The Brave Soldier Švejk“. The village Okrouhlice lies 9 km from the town Havlíčkův Brod. There is a historical center with renaissance houses and town hall and many cultural, sport and shopping possibilities. E.g. there is a sport facility with an indoor swimming pool, fit-ness, saunas, squash, gymnasium, ice-hockey stadium, restaurant and bar, a new summer swimming pool area directly in Havlíčkův Brod or a „Water paradise“ in Jihlava (the capital of the region, 30km from Okrouhlice). Around Okrouhlice itself there is a net of marked tourist paths and cycling tracks for discovering the cute countryside of the Highlands. In the village there is a little supermarket and too typical Czech pubs – one of them with a famous cooking. The house is situated in the quiet part of the village in a garden in a street of similar houses. It has two floors with independent flats. Downstairs there is a kitchen with an eating room, two bedrooms (3 and 4 beds), a bathroom, a WC. Everything is fully equipped – in the kitchen there is electric stove with oven, a microwave oven, a toaster, an electric teapot, all the kitchen utensils, fridge. TV and a washing machine. Upstairs (nowadays under reconstruction – until February/March it will be completely finished) there are four rooms (two one bed rooms, one three bed room and one four bed room), a kitchen, a bathroom and a WC. The house has a central gas heating. In the cellar there is a large garage, apart of it there is the parking possibility in front of the house. In the garden there will the place for grilling and garden furniture. It is possible to rent the house all the yearlong.
